Horacio Muratore

President of FIBA

He was born on 29th November of 1951, in San Miguel de Tucumán. He has a degree on Accounting, obtained at the National University of Tucumán. Between 1975 and 2004: he worked as an Academic and Management Administrator of the National University of Tucuman, Member of the Business Consulting Department, Member of the Auditing Department and Accounting professor. He also has basketball experience; he was President of Tucuman Club BB, President – CABB, President CONSUBASQUET (South American Basketball Confederation with 10 South American members federation), FIBA AMERICAS 2nd Vice President and FIBA President. Some basketball achievements during leadership were: Southamerican and Panamerican Championships in both categories (female and male), the World sub-champion in 2002 Indianapolis (USA), Olympic Medal in Athens 2004and a bronze medal in Olympic Game in China 2008.
