Denis Coderre was born on July 25 of  1963. He has a degree in Political Science from the University of Montreal and holds a Masters in administration for executives of the University of Ottawa. He received the rank of Commander of the Order of the Pleiad of the Canadian section of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie, which recognizes the merits of those who have distinguished themselves by serving the ideals of La Francophonie.
