Jorge Yoyo Riva

Colombian-Argentine Jorge Yoyo Riva is professor of Philosophy at the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA). He has a postgraduate degree in Non-for-Profit Organizations from University of San Andres (UdeSA) and the University Di Tella (UTDT), and has studied at the Singularity University (California). He helped set up TECHO (Un Techo para mi País - ‘A Roof for my Country’) in Buenos Aires in 2006, where he served as Director of Training & Volunteering for Argentina, Latin America and the Caribbean. He ran TECHO Colombia for two years where he worked on a joint mission with the United Nations and the Colombian national government to ensure long-term emergency planning after the floods of 2010. He later co-founded and led Socialab in Argentina, which has offices in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay, and which helps to accelerate businesses with a high social impact. He also works with the Singularity University, consulting on global challenges and on businesses with impact.
