She has a degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. She completed a postgraduate degree in Training for Creativity and Innovation in Organizations at the University of Buenos Aires. Mercedes Aranguren is the President of the “Fundación Convivir”, NGO dedicated to the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions from the community intervention, health and education promotion, promoting an active social inclusion and citizen empowerment. She is also Director of International, Regional and National Projects of the “Fundación Convivir” and Coordinator of the Ambulatory Center "Las 4 Estaciones” for the treatment of young adults with drug dependence. She is Consultant and Trainer of Programs of Integral Addiction Prevention, Intervention and Community Programs, Programs of Health Promotion for teachers developed by the “Fundación Convivir”.
